The Observatory says that downpours will continue over the next couple of days.

Widespread heavy rain affected the city on Wednesday afternoon. The thunderstorm warning was issued at 2:50pm.

One or two rain patches are expected on Friday.

However, the weather is set to improve and become warmer as the city heads towards the Easter Monday break.

“[A] maritime airstream will bring warm and foggy weather to the region early next week,” the Observatory said.
