[sponsored] To many, networking feels like an awkward activity, but it doesn’t have to be. While the word “networking” might put you off, networking can be a great way to make connections, learn about new trends, test your ideas, find new friends, and build your career. It all depends on how you go about it.
In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to reframe your idea of networking so that it becomes a meaningful part of your life. We’ll talk about how to network without feeling or acting like a jerk, how to do informational interviews (and why they’re such a vital tool), and the dos and don’ts when networking on LinkedIn. Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, working for a startup, freelancing or studying, this workshop will help you see networking as a skill you can hone. By doing the exercises in this workshop, you will get to meet like-minded people and come to see networking less like a chore, and more like an experience you can enjoy.
